Like previous years, this year too we proudly celebrated the International Women Film Festival, organized by IAWRT Nepal (International association of women in Radio and Television), supported by Samriddhi Foundation Nepal along with our valued partners. The festival’s central purpose is to honor and amplify the work, vision and unique perspectives of women filmmakers from Nepal and around the world.

This year, we showcased a powerful selection of international films directed by women, along with remarkable Nepali films made by female directors. The core mission of this event is to inspire and encourage more women to step forward with their stories, stories born from the realities of our society, stories that deserve to be seen and heard.

The event concluded successfully with the participation of over 200 attendees and the screening of 14 impactful films, Samriddhi Foundation Nepal remains committed to supporting initiatives that uplift women, strengthen voices, and drive meaningful social change.
