Samriddhi Foundation Nepal has organized an awareness program to stop gender-based violence in Mahalaxmi Municipality Lalitpur, Nepal. where short movie named ICE CREAM based on sexual violence was projected. There was a presentation on women’s condition in Nepal and how to empower them by Former Chief Commissioner of National Information Commission Mr. Shri Krishna Hari Baskota. In this program, Mayor Mr. Hari Gobind Shrestha and Deputy Chief Lakshmi Maharjan of Mahalakshmi municipality has committed to bring new programs and plans to make this Municipality gender violence free.
